Corry’s manufacturing history runs deep, back to the community’s origins as an oil boomtown.

Fortune-seekers and entrepreneurs flocked to the region hoping to cash in on the discovery of oil in nearby Titusville, and many found their opportunity instead in Corry, where two rail lines provided the way for the necessary raw materials to get in, and for their products to reach the world.

Farm equipment, typewriters, corsets, furniture, springs, locomotives, leather, and more have given way over time to airplane and aerospace components, plastics, sheet metal fabrication, foam products, tool & die, rubber products, and more.

Welcome to Corry … where we still make things! To find out how YOU can make things in Corry, contact the Corry Redevelopment Authority at 814.664.3884.
