 The City has a contract to pick up garbage from city households and businesses on a regular weekly basis. Your pick-up day will be the same day each week, unless a holiday delays the normal schedule. All recyclable glass/metal/plastic must be placed in the orange recycle container provided to each household. Newspapers and cardboard items must be bundled and placed curbside with the recyclable items. The first Friday of each month, refrigerators, stoves, washers, water heaters and other large items may be placed curbside for pick-up.
