Corry Historical Museum - The Corry Historical Museum is located near the entrance to Mead Park and houses a wealth of historical information from the Corry area, including the famous Climax locomotive which was manufactured here in the 1920s.

Visitors are welcomed from 2:00-4:00 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Other hours by appointment.

Outdoor Activities

Mead Park - One of Corry's gems, Mead Park is a 50 acre park located on the west side of the city. The park offers picnicking facilities, a fishing pond, hiking trails, softball fields, tennis courts, an amphitheater, lodges and several playgrounds. To reserve a pavilion, please call 663-7041 for information.

North Hills Golf Course - North Hills Golf Course, nestled in a valley on the north side of Corry, is an 18-hole course acknowledged as one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in Pennsylvania. It is open to members and the general public.

When you visit the Corry area, check these out:

If you are looking for that yummy slice of apple pie, visit the Dutch Treat in nearby Spartansburg. Take scenic Route 77 south from downtown. Try the Library Bar & Grill in downtown Corry for dinner, or if you want to drive into the countryside, try the Gingerbread House on Lindsay Hollow Road. Looking for a place to buy a 6-pack of beer? Try the Beer Barn on Route 6. Or try the Corner Bar for a sociable place. For that beautiful sunset in the summertime, head over to Chautauqua Lake and take an evening cruise on the Summer Wind. If you need to check your emails while you are away from home, try the Corry Public Library on West Washington Street. And for that great cup of coffee – the Baker’s Cup on Route 6. Looking for that special gift or Corry memorabilia? Something Special is the place to check out in Downtown at 117 North Center Street. Do you like to browse for antiques? Try the new Whistle Stop Antique Mall in Downtown at the corner of Washington and North Center Streets. And if you would like to take a one day side trip, try a visit to Erie or to Pittsburgh.
